Bloodletting line comes right after the stunning process. Cutting the poultry blood vessels results in bleed-out. The bleeding process takes around 4 minutes. It can vary though depending on such factors such as size and type of the bird. The bleeding time can be adjusted by pneumatic tensioners. 

On the bleeding line there will be lost at least 60% of blood.
